 At the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Investigate the current market for property that has been recently developed in a local area
  • Identify any issues that may impact on the development potential of the properties.
  • Formulate potential development concepts that can be presented to a client
  • Assess the viability of each concept against cost factors and market trends.
  • Develop a property development proposal.
  • Make a recommendation as to which property development concept is the most viable, and the reasons why.
  • Identify potential buyers for redeveloped properties.
  • Develop a marketing strategy for the developed properties.
  • Write up a contract that can be presented to a client.
